About Carla xo

Hi ! I’m Carla,

 

An author  and qualified fitness trainer who is devoted to the holistic well-being of women.  I am passionate about seeing women walking in wholeness, and I have been a pillar of support and a personal cheerleader for many women who have battled with low-self esteem, body image and mental health challenges. 

I have a heart for helping women going through these challenges because I too have experienced my own battles.  In 2013 I was diagnosed with ‘Body Dysmorphic Disorder’ which is an anxiety disorder related to body image and also developed ‘Bulimia’ which is an eating disorder. I fought with suicidal thoughts, depression and had very low self-esteem which was hindering me from optimally walking in my purpose. I was able to breakthrough, overcome these challenges and learn to be at peace with my reflection and finally love myself. I now believe it is my duty  to empower and walk hand in hand with other women who also desire to do the same.
